Privacy Policy

Ttobak (또박) is an app for learning Korean, made by Vectavox LLC. This policy covers the Ttobak app for iPhone and iPad and this website, ttobak.enigmae.io. The short version: Ttobak does not collect your personal information.

The app

• No account. You don't sign up or log in.
• No tracking or ads. The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and does not share data with third parties.
• Lessons and audio are built in. The lessons and recordings ship inside the app; playing them does not contact any server.
• Your progress stays on your device. Settings, such as whether you've seen the welcome screen, are stored only on your device and are deleted when you delete the app.

Features that are coming

Ttobak is in active development. Planned features include pronunciation practice using the microphone, handwriting practice and syncing your study progress between your devices. If a feature needs the microphone, iOS will ask your permission first, and speech will be processed on your device where possible. Before any feature sends data off your device, this policy will be updated to say exactly what is sent, where, and why, and the change will be dated above.

TestFlight beta

If you test Ttobak through Apple's TestFlight, Apple shares some information with the developer to support testing, such as your name or email if you were invited by email, your device model and iOS version, crash reports, and feedback you choose to send. This is governed by Apple's TestFlight terms and privacy policy. That information is used only to fix problems and improve Ttobak.

This website

This website is a set of static pages. It uses no cookies, analytics or trackers, and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. It is delivered by Amazon Web Services (CloudFront), which processes technical information such as IP addresses to serve the pages, under AWS's own privacy terms.

Children

Ttobak does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
